Moments ago, Jon Favreau the Executive Producer of the new Star Wars live-action series released the series title and a synopsis. The new series, which will debut on the Disney Live Stream service next year, will be titled Star Wars: The Mandalorian.

This synopsis details the emergence of a lone warrior just making his way in the Galaxy. What’s interesting for me is that it is prefaced with Jango and Boba Fett. I wonder if this new warrior just might be Cobb Vanth. The lone law-man of Tatooine that discovered Fett’s armor and wears it as his own in Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath Series.  The time and the setting seem to lend to that as well as recent pictures have surfaced of the set from MakingStarWars.net. Perhaps the sets we have seen could be of Mos Eisley? Moreover, the timeline fits the Aftermath Series which takes place after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.
