Talk about a delight to come home to! The fantastically awesome Andi Gutierrez and her Emmy nominated Star Wars Show had a special this evening hosted by some of the greatest storytellers at Lucasfilm. The panel featured the talented members of the Lucasfilm story group, Leeland Chee, Pablo Hidalgo, Matt Martin and Rayne Roberts. The group poured over the big easter eggs of Star Wars: The Last Jedi and gave us some really fun insight into the creation of that story.

One of the great joys for me has always been the creation side of these films. Since it’s not likely that we will see a “Making Of” book anytime soon, this thirty-minute show was a joy to watch. It’s the charming stories behind the scenes by real artists being themselves and cultivating their vision into a fantastic tale. I adore hearing Rayne speak about how Space bear became the project name for “The Last Jedi” and how Matt weaved in elements of Battlefront into Luke’s journey.

This special showcases the value-add of The Star Wars Show, and how important it is for the brand and the community they serve. If there ever was an example of getting the best bang for the buck, in delivering entertaining, intelligent insight loaded with sincere charm and love of Star Wars, this is it.

Trust me on this one kids, find thirty minutes and sit back and enjoy these amazing folks point out elements in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
