The beloved animation series Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be celebrating it’s ten year anniversary at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The announcement from the official site just lit a spark in the eyes for many Star Wars fans that get a chance to look back at the series which drew them into our saga far, far away.

Lucasfilm announced today that it’s celebrating the landmark 10th anniversary of the beloved CG animated series with a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Dave Filoni, supervising director, and special guests will share a look back at the show and its many incredible stories. The panel will be held at the San Diego Convention Center on Thursday, July 19, 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in room 6BCF.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars was a cinematic masterpiece for the small screen, that showcased how big Star Wars could be and the volume of great stories it can tell. Many of the characters were complex, engaging and memorable. All of this will be remembered and displayed by Lucasfilm Executive Producer Dave Filoni and hosted by Nerdist managing Editor Amy Ratcliffe.

I thought I have had my fill of SDCC, but this is one panel I am going to sorely miss. The good news here is, we may get our first peek at the new Star Wars animation series Star Wars: Resistance, debuting this fall.
